Contract & Ferry Services

SERVICES:

I am available to contract fly and/or ferry your airplane anywhere in the contiguous United States (lower 48) with as little as 1 week’s notice.

Other locations will require special arrangements unique to your circumstances. I have international flying experience.

COST:

My rate is $400/day ~ $1,000/day for contract and ferry services not including expenses related to the contract/ferry operation.

The final cost will depend on the aircraft and distance/days required.

If you need an aircraft ferried but also require flight training due to insurance or time-building you may join the ferry flight where I can provide dual instruction for you at no extra cost!

Note: If your aircraft is being flown on a ferry permit then instruction is not permitted.

FLIGHT EXPERIENCE
  • Long cross-country flights (i.e. in excess of 1,000 nautical miles, traversing different weather systems, terrain, and airspace)
    • This includes night cross-country flights over unlit terrain
  • Hard IMC operations, including approaches to Category I minimums in low IFR conditions, both with and without the use of an autopilot at towered and non-towered airports
  • Mountainous terrain including operations at high density-altitude airports surrounded by such terrain
  • Classic 6 pack steam gauges and glass cockpit systems
    • I am incredibly familiar with all Garmin aviation units (excluding the G2000), including all of the NXi/TXi/Xi variants and their non-IFR units (e.g. Aera)
    • I am incredibly familiar with all Avidyne units except for the Vantage.
    • I also have experience with all Aspen PFD units, various VM, JPI, and CGR engine monitors, and various Autopilot units such as Bendix, Garmin, S-TEC, Pro Line, and Century

** I provide limited instruction in the Piaggio Avanti, primarily for avionic support. As such I will not ferry this aircraft solo, if you are properly insured on the Piaggio Avanti then I am willing to accompany you.
